Navratri 2019

This is a religious festival looked forward to by one and all - whether young or old. Its an event of celebration by all and pray to MAA AMBA for her blessings. As soon as the Navaratri festival starts, the colour of Garba and Dandiya Raas takes over the club facility. More then 1500 visitors join in daily for nine days in unison to dance to the tune of Garba and gather for the Maha Aarti. The Surat Tennis Club boast to be one of the best celebrated Navratri festival in the city. Kudos to the managing committee who put so many extra hours and planning to make this celebration a memorable one to all the members of the club. Its worthwhile to mention the three sessions per day Garba coaching classes for all the members to learn Garba, which start at least 2 to 3 months in advance at the club. This is one of the most successful events organized by the club - a pride which all members also take.
