From the Desk of President - Dr. Nitin Garg
On behalf of all the members of the managing committee of The Surat Tennis Club, I welcome you all.
It is indeed a matter of great pleasure for me to represent most elite and reputed members of this club. I feel proud in letting you know that The Surat Tennis Club is one of the oldest, most reputed and cleanest club of the city with family patron membership approaching almost 3000.
A journey, which started more than 90 years before has been a trend setter for Surat in the field of health, sports and family activities. The club is well placed in the center of Surat with facilities for all types of sports activities including a Modern Gymnasium, Special Cardio Gym, Cycling, Ozonized Swimming Pool, Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Billiards & Snooker, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Outdoor & Indoor Cricket, Cross Fit, Steam, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Yoga, Aerobics, etc. The club also has got a Library and Kindle facilities for their members. Family activities are regularly undertaken to keep the members engaged. It also has got a Multi-purpose Hall where regular screening of movies takes place. It has also got facilities of Karaoke Singing. Seminars, Presentations and Talks of Experts are also regularly organized to update members on subjects related to Health & Fitness. It is worth to mention that the best Navratri of Surat has been regularly organized by our club since last many years.
With sincere efforts of the managing committee and dedicated staff, the club has undergone major changes over last decade. The building and facilities have been rejuvenated very recently to keep abreast with modern times. It is no wonder that players like Harmeet Desai, Table Tennis Champion and Winner of most prestigious Arjun Award is a member of our club and regularly uses its facilities for his practice, for which each and every member is very proud of.
The management of the club looks forward to adding values and services year by year. I am sure, with dedication and sincere efforts, we shall always keep up to the expectations of members and upheld the reputation of The Surat Tennis Club.
